Treier, Andr\u00e1s Zlinsky, Arko Lucieer et Signe Normand.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-bf5cf5b elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"bf5cf5b\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-39749bc\" data-id=\"39749bc\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a38b2d1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a38b2d1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><strong>Comment avez-vous utilis\u00e9 UAS LiDAR pour d\u00e9tecter les arbustes ?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Le YellowScan Surveyor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yellowscan.com\/fr\/products\/surveyor_ultra\/\">UAS LiDAR<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour scanner une prairie o\u00f9 des chevaux et des vaches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment r\u00e9introduits dans le cadre d&rsquo;une exp\u00e9rience de r\u00e9-ensauvagement. Nous avons d\u00e9tect\u00e9 et surveill\u00e9 une esp\u00e8ce d&rsquo;arbuste sp\u00e9cifique (Cytisus scoparius ou gen\u00eat \u00e0 balais) qui pose probl\u00e8me dans certaines zones en termes d&#8217;empi\u00e8tement. L&rsquo;esp\u00e8ce a une croissance rapide et est capable de supplanter les plantes environnantes en monopolisant la lumi\u00e8re, ce qui peut avoir des cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives sur la diversit\u00e9 des plantes. Nous avons donc scann\u00e9 la zone et class\u00e9 les arbustes dans le nuage de points LiDAR de l&rsquo;UAS. Nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un ensemble de variables 3D caract\u00e9risant et distinguant cette esp\u00e8ce des autres arbustes. Les variables ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cibl\u00e9es pour d\u00e9tecter les caract\u00e9ristiques morphologiques variant entre les esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;arbustes afin de repr\u00e9senter, par exemple, la disposition des feuilles et des branches. Par exemple, notre arbuste focal (C. scoparius) a une forme de croissance moins dense que, par exemple, Juniperus communis, qui peut donc \u00eatre s\u00e9par\u00e9 par les variables ponctuelles repr\u00e9sentant la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration de la lumi\u00e8re et la complexit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons utilis\u00e9 nos connaissances \u00e9cologiques pour cr\u00e9er diff\u00e9rentes variables repr\u00e9sentant au mieux les caract\u00e9ristiques de croissance des arbustes, puis nous avons utilis\u00e9 une technique d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique bas\u00e9e sur les points pour classer les diff\u00e9rentes esp\u00e8ces directement dans le nuage de points 3D. Nous avons atteint une pr\u00e9cision d&rsquo;au moins 86 % dans notre mod\u00e8le de classification. Cela nous a permis d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier les changements au cours de la saison hivernale, car on suppose que les animaux affectent davantage la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation ligneuse au cours de cette p\u00e9riode, alors qu&rsquo;en m\u00eame temps, on ne s&rsquo;attend pas \u00e0 une croissance importante des plantes au cours de cette saison froide. En moyenne, nous avons constat\u00e9, comme pr\u00e9vu, une diminution de la biomasse entre l&rsquo;automne et le printemps, m\u00eame si elle est faible (33,4 ou 4,9 g\/m2, selon le mod\u00e8le de classification). Toutefois, la modification de la biomasse arbustive n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9partie de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale sur l&rsquo;ensemble de la zone. Dans certaines zones, nous avons constat\u00e9 une forte diminution de la biomasse arbustive, en particulier dans une zone plus proche de la for\u00eat.<\/p>\n<p>Nous n&rsquo;avons pas encore pris le temps d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier davantage les facteurs sous-jacents \u00e0 cette diminution de la biomasse. Cependant, une hypoth\u00e8se est que les animaux ont tendance \u00e0 passer plus de temps dans la for\u00eat pendant l&rsquo;hiver et qu&rsquo;ils affectent donc davantage les arbustes dans cette zone en les pi\u00e9tinant et en les broutant. Mais, comme nous l&rsquo;avons dit, d&rsquo;autres recherches seront n\u00e9cessaires pour v\u00e9rifier cette hypoth\u00e8se. Nous n&rsquo;avons pas cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 couvrir le plus de terrain possible, mais nous avons mis l&rsquo;accent sur le niveau de d\u00e9tail n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9tecter les variations \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation des prairies. Nous avons collect\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es LiDAR en 3 vols, ce qui est g\u00e9rable en une demi-journ\u00e9e. Nous avons vol\u00e9 relativement bas, \u00e0 40 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du sol. Mon coll\u00e8gue Urs A. Treier est le pilote de l&rsquo;UAS, il s&rsquo;occupe de la partie technique lourde et j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 le copilote de tous les vols, je me suis occup\u00e9 des plans de vol et j&rsquo;ai surveill\u00e9 la station de contr\u00f4le au sol.<\/p>\n<p>Actuellement, nous effectuons une surveillance temporelle plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9e en r\u00e9p\u00e9tant les vols UAS tous les deux mois. Les donn\u00e9es ainsi acquises nous permettront d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier plus en d\u00e9tail les changements de croissance saisonniers ainsi que les effets des stades ph\u00e9nologiques sur les Quels sont les r\u00e9sultats finaux en termes de pr\u00e9cision ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une fois le nuage de points LiDAR g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 avec le logiciel YellowScan, la manipulation du nuage de points a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e avec le logiciel OPALS, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par les chercheurs de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Vienne. Nous avons utilis\u00e9 OPALS pour une classification semi-automatique bas\u00e9e sur les points directement dans le nuage de points, ce qui signifie que chaque point peut se voir attribuer diverses caract\u00e9ristiques suppl\u00e9mentaires. Deux \u00e9l\u00e9ments majeurs \u00e9taient n\u00e9cessaires pour que la classification fonctionne.<\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-649e9c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"649e9c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tout d&rsquo;abord, les donn\u00e9es de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence et de validation de 180 observations de 11 esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;arbustes diff\u00e9rentes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9es manuellement dans la zone en mesurant les emplacements exacts \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me GNSS.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, des variables de nuages de points ont pu \u00eatre extraites pour les arbustes d\u00e9sormais \u00e9tiquet\u00e9s. Ensuite, nous avons appliqu\u00e9 une approche d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique en utilisant un algorithme de partitionnement r\u00e9cursif pour classer chaque point du nuage de points sur la base des caract\u00e9ristiques morphologiques repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par les variables LiDAR.<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00e9cision globale de la classification des nuages de points \u00e9tait bonne, avec des pr\u00e9cisions globales de 86,9 % et 95,2 % pour les donn\u00e9es d&rsquo;automne et de printemps, respectivement. Nous avons proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 quelques ajustements pour aligner les nuages de points provenant des trois vols diff\u00e9rents afin de combiner les donn\u00e9es et d&rsquo;obtenir une meilleure repr\u00e9sentation des arbustes. Les r\u00e9sultats sont excellents. En outre, le Surveyor fait bien son travail et il est facile de travailler avec les logiciels POSPac et YellowScan. Pour \u00eatre honn\u00eate, je ne me souviens pas de probl\u00e8mes majeurs et j&rsquo;ai post-trait\u00e9 pas mal de donn\u00e9es LiDAR !<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de recherche a l&rsquo;impression que, m\u00eame avec deux retours (ou \u00e9chos) fournis par le g\u00e9om\u00e8tre, nous obtenons un grand nombre de points et une bonne repr\u00e9sentation de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation. Nos donn\u00e9es semblent tr\u00e8s bonnes et pr\u00e9cises et nous ne voyons pas beaucoup de bruit dans les sorties de donn\u00e9es. Travailler sur la biodiversit\u00e9 des prairies est une question de pr\u00e9cision et d&rsquo;exactitude. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie UAS LiDAR, nous avons pu constater les diff\u00e9rences entre les paysages.<\/p>\n<p>Nous utilisons le LiDAR sur des drones parce que la plupart des activit\u00e9s traditionnelles de gestion des terres sont bas\u00e9es sur des \u00e9chelles de parcelles locales. Cela ne repr\u00e9sente pas n\u00e9cessairement ce qui se passe dans l&rsquo;ensemble du paysage. C&rsquo;est ce que nous avons montr\u00e9 dans notre \u00e9tude. En ce sens, nous avons pu observer diff\u00e9rentes tendances : variation de la biomasse \u00e0 travers une zone avec des augmentations et des diminutions. Nous n&rsquo;aurions pas \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure de saisir une telle dynamique de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du paysage sans le syst\u00e8me LiDAR de l&rsquo;UAS.
