L&rsquo;UVM est l&rsquo;une des rares organisations de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat \u00e0 avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la technologie UAS LiDAR, ce qui en fait un contact prioritaire pour la capture de donn\u00e9es d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation et de mod\u00e8les pr\u00e9cis pour les glissements de terrain, en particulier lorsqu&rsquo;une collecte rapide de donn\u00e9es est n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;UVM est \u00e9galement une universit\u00e9 de base d&rsquo;ASSURE, le centre d&rsquo;excellence de la FAA en mati\u00e8re de recherche. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces missions sur les glissements de terrain, l&rsquo;UVM a recueilli des informations importantes sur l&rsquo;utilisation des UAS pour les interventions en cas de catastrophe, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la poursuite de la recherche dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;objectif \u00e9tait de recueillir des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cises sur l&rsquo;altitude des glissements de terrain \u00e0 des fins de surveillance. Pour les glissements de terrain plus importants, tels que ceux de Smuggler&rsquo;s Notch et Cottonbrook, l&rsquo;objectif \u00e9tait de comprendre les mouvements de terrain au fil du temps et d&rsquo;identifier tout signe de d\u00e9bris d\u00e9tach\u00e9s afin d&rsquo;estimer le volume ou d&rsquo;\u00e9ventuels glissements de terrain \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>Ces projets n\u00e9cessitaient un LiDAR UAS pr\u00e9cis, capable de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans des canop\u00e9es d&rsquo;arbres denses et des d\u00e9bris pour capturer des points au sol. Les donn\u00e9es devaient \u00eatre pr\u00e9cises pour permettre d&rsquo;estimer le volume des d\u00e9bris, qui pourrait ensuite \u00eatre compar\u00e9 aux donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes et utilis\u00e9 pour surveiller les mouvements du sol, tels que les nouvelles fissures ou les glissements sous les canop\u00e9es d&rsquo;arbres denses. En outre, sa capacit\u00e9 de 3 \u00e9chos s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9e inestimable pour p\u00e9n\u00e9trer les canop\u00e9es d&rsquo;arbres denses pendant les conditions de feuillage \u00e0 Cottonbrook, ce qui a permis de d\u00e9tecter des fissures et des glissements individuels qui \u00e9taient pass\u00e9s inaper\u00e7us auparavant.<\/p>\n<p>Le Surveyor Ultra s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9 extr\u00eamement utile dans leurs recherches sur les glissements de terrain et les chutes de pierres \u00e0 parois verticales, en particulier dans les zones o\u00f9 une grande partie du sol \u00e9tait recouverte d&rsquo;un couvert arbor\u00e9 dense. Associ\u00e9 au DJI Matrice 300 RTK, ils ont pu facilement naviguer sur les terrains difficiles de ces glissements de terrain gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une planification m\u00e9ticuleuse. d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation et de surface), les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 des diff\u00e9rences de 3 \u00e0 5 cm, ce qui leur a donn\u00e9 confiance dans l&rsquo;acquisition des donn\u00e9es. M\u00eame sous le couvert d&rsquo;arbres denses, les points au sol ont produit des mod\u00e8les num\u00e9riques d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation que les g\u00e9ologues de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat ont appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s. Par exemple, \u00e0 Cottonbrook, l&rsquo;UVM a extrait des fissures et des petites vall\u00e9es sous les arbres, ainsi que des glissements de terrain. \u00c0 Smuggler&rsquo;s Notch, ils ont captur\u00e9 des coupes transversales d\u00e9taill\u00e9es de la face verticale pour des comparaisons futures.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es que nous avons recueillies ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9cieuses pour les rapports annuels des g\u00e9ologues de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat sur les glissements de Smuggler&rsquo;s Notch et Cottonbrook, notamment en ce qui concerne les changements dans les parois verticales et les d\u00e9bris tomb\u00e9s. Des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution captur\u00e9es sous la canop\u00e9e des arbres de Cottonbrook ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des fissures qui n&rsquo;avaient jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es auparavant. En outre, lors de glissements de terrain provoqu\u00e9s par des inondations, les donn\u00e9es ont fourni des informations essentielles aux g\u00e9ologues de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat pour r\u00e9pondre aux pr\u00e9occupations des urbanistes et des premiers intervenants en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9vacuation ou de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans tout le Vermont, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la confiance dans la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p>La facilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;installation et de post-traitement dans la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yellowscan.com\/fr\/products\/cloudstation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YellowScan CloudStation<\/a> a permis d&rsquo;obtenir rapidement des mod\u00e8les de donn\u00e9es de qualit\u00e9 pour les rapports et les analyses ult\u00e9rieures avec le Vermont Geological Survey.
