Le principal processus optique qui se produit dans le brouillard est la diffusion, tandis que pour la pluie, il s&rsquo;agit de la dispersion.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le premier cas, la lumi\u00e8re est diffus\u00e9e dans toutes les directions par les mol\u00e9cules d&rsquo;eau. C&rsquo;est pourquoi il est possible de voir le faisceau laser. Toute cette diffusion augmente le bruit dans les donn\u00e9es car il est tr\u00e8s difficile pour le capteur LiDAR de diff\u00e9rencier les signaux de retour qu&rsquo;il re\u00e7oit entre les points au sol et les gouttelettes d&rsquo;eau. Le nettoyage de l&rsquo;ensemble des donn\u00e9es au stade du post-traitement peut \u00eatre une t\u00e2che fastidieuse.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas de la pluie, la lumi\u00e8re est simplement d\u00e9vi\u00e9e par les gouttelettes et il n&rsquo;y a plus de faisceau laser droit. La lumi\u00e8re r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie ne peut pas \u00eatre d\u00e9tect\u00e9e en raison de l&rsquo;effet de d\u00e9viation.
