From LiDAR to Better Planning: YellowScan Access Expands with EOMAP Services
Montpellier, France – September 21st
YellowScan, a global leader in UAV LiDAR mapping solutions, announces the integration of EOMAP’s satellite-derived services into the YellowScan Access ecosystem. This collaboration provides customers with valuable insights before deploying equipment in the field, helping them plan projects more efficiently and confidently.
Launched to provide flexible access to professional LiDAR technology, YellowScan Access enables organizations to rent high-performance LiDAR systems without the need for significant capital investment. The service includes hardware, software, technical support, insurance, and training, allowing customers to quickly mobilize the right solution for their project.
As part of the Access ecosystem, customers can now benefit from EOMAP’s expertise in satellite-derived environmentanalysis. By leveraging satellite data before field deployment, organizations can gain a better understanding of their area of interest, identify potential opportunities and challenges, and optimize survey planning before mobilizing personnel and equipment.
“YellowScan Access was created to make advanced geospatial technologies more accessible while helping customers reduce project complexity,” said Philippe Charles, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at YellowScan. “The addition of EOMAP services brings an extra layer of intelligence to the decision-making process, enabling customers to better evaluate a site before deploying resources in the field.”
The combination of drone LiDAR and satellite-derived analysis offers a complementary approach for coastal, inland water, environmental, and infrastructure projects. Customers can use EOMAP’s information to perform an initial assessment of a project area(, prioritize survey locations, and better prepare acquisition campaigns before conducting detailed LiDAR surveys).
“Well in advance of mobilization, EOMAP’s satellite-derived data informs customers about the expected water clarity at a survey site throughout the year. They can therefore plan their LiDAR campaign for the time with the best expected conditions,” said Philipp Bauer, Product Owner of eoapp AQUALITE at EOMAP. “Making this tool available through YellowScan Access helps customers to plan and conduct their surveys successfully.“
This integration further reinforces YellowScan’s vision of delivering more than hardware through Access. By combining advanced sensing technologies with expert services and trusted partners, YellowScan helps customers reduce uncertainty, optimize workflows, and maximize project outcomes.
Whether deploying the YellowScan Navigator for bathymetric applications or the Voyager, Surveyor Ultra, and Mapper Ultra for topographic surveying, customers can now benefit from additional site intelligence through a single ecosystem designed to simplify project execution.
