YellowScan and Argosdyne Announce Strategic Partnership for C2 Classified Drone LiDAR Solution
Montpellier, France – May 15th, 2025 – YellowScan, a global leader in UAV LiDAR solutions, and Argosdyne, a leading drone manufacturer, today announced a strategic partnership centered around the EasyMapper drone solutions, which have officially received the prestigious C2 Class certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
C2 Classification Achievement Marks Major Milestone
Both EasyMapper solutions (Easy Mapper-LS C2 and EasyMapper-LM C2), distinguished by its signature orange color, has been officially certified as C2 Class compliant (reference: EASA PR-318-AL-200F), a significant regulatory achievement that enables operations across the European Union under standardized drone regulations. This certification demonstrates the system’s compliance with strict safety, performance, and operational standards, providing customers with assurance of regulatory compliance and operational reliability.

Under this partnership, YellowScan provides OEM versions of its renowned LiDAR technology to Argosdyne, which integrates them into their EasyMapper drone platform and sells the complete bundled solution to customers, dealers, and resellers worldwide. Argosdyne will deliver technical training and first-level support, while YellowScan provides second-level technical support to ensure comprehensive customer service.
Argosdyne is actively expanding its distribution network, with particular focus on the US market. The company has already secured local drone licenses for tender biddings in Malaysia and Thailand, and is working closely with dealers across the APAC region to deploy demonstration units of the EasyMapper solution.
Proven Field Performance
The EasyMapper solution has already demonstrated its capabilities through successful deployments in Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. An upcoming demonstration is scheduled at the Japanese Users Meeting in Tokyo at the end of May, further expanding the solution’s global footprint.
