Igor Vereninov is the co-founder and CEO of Emlid, a com- pany that develops high-precision GNSS receivers. In 2014, he co-launched Emlid with a successful crowdfunding campaign. Supported by DIY community backers, Emlid produced the first batch of the Reach GNSS module in 2015. Under Igor’s leadership, Emlid has released nine models of Reach receivers over the past decade. These receivers now deliver high-precision geospatial data for drone mapping, sur- veying, construction, and GIS. Throughout his journey at Emlid, Igor has taken on various roles—from hardware engineering and project management to finance, web design, and marketing—gaining a deep unders- tanding of every aspect of the business. Today, he focuses on driving innovation, building industry-leading products, and fostering transformative collaborations across the geospatial sector.
Master’s Degree in Physics, and PhD in Earth Science at the University of Florence. He has worked on space science and Earth science projects. He has worked to design, realize and calibrate instruments for space missions. In the Earth Science Department he has worked on physical and statistical landslide triggering models and remote sensing. He currently works as technical manager of Uav-lab at the Civil protection Center of the University of Florence and is involved in the design, creation and use of drones and sensors.
Dr. Eduard Ilie Năstase is a researcher at Romania’s National Institute for Earth Physics, specializing in GNSS and remote sen- sing for Earth observation and hazard monitoring. He integrates UAV LiDAR and geodetic methods into multidisciplinary pro- jects and actively contributes to education, digital fabrication, and technology transfer through national and international col- laborations.
MOST Robotics GmbH serves as a strategic hub for high-end UAV systems, providing tailored solutions for fully automated industrial and infrastructure monitoring as well as complete defense systems. The founders combine LiDAR expertise with system architecture. From surveying to the German Armed Forces, the company ensures technological superiority through complete European systems and actively shapes the autono- mous future in the DACH region.
Nico Jaeger has over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry, having worked at organizations such as Dipl. Ing Geodesy, and Leica; he joined Trimble Applanix for Regional Support, and later transitioned to his current role as Product Manager for POSPac, leveraging his extensive geospatial expertise to drive innovation in the field.
Thibaud has 10 years of experience in the survey industry, in- cluding 5 years as Customer Support and 3 years as Product Manager within YellowScan, feeding his appetite for diverse projects and varied experiences along the way. His passion for heritage preservation is linked to his deep understating of LiDAR technology and its applications.
Marie de Boisvilliers is an environmental engineer and project manager at L’Avion Jaune, a mapping services company provi- ding aerial imagery and 3D data using light aircraft and UAVs. Her work includes multispectral imaging, as well as photogrammetric and LiDAR data acquisition and processing, particularly for en- vironmental management and ecological research applications.
Martin Andersson is the Founder and CEO of Scandinavian Drone, and YellowScan’s representative in Denmark and Norway. He specializes in topographic and bathymetric LiDAR, suppor- ting organizations with advanced drone solutions, from data acquisition to analysis, helping them improve efficiency, ac- curacy, and decision-making across complex geospatial and environmental projects.
Dr. Tristan Allouis is the CEO and Founder of YellowScan. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from ESIEA and a PhD in Environmental Science from AgroParisTech. Combining en- gineering and geospatial expertise, Tristan leads YellowScan’s mission to deliver precise, efficient LiDAR mapping solutions for professionals in surveying, forestry, archaeology, environmental monitoring, and related fields.
Célya is a Field Application Engineer at SBG Systems. She joined the company as an intern in 2021 and holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. With a background in robotics, she is now a key member of the support team, where she is in charge of aerial cases and takes care of YellowScan's topics.
Chembe Chisense, Regional Support Manager for Europe at Trimble Applanix, has 13+ years of experience in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. Previously at Planet Labs and Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, he holds degrees from Stuttgart and the University of Zambia. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
Eerika is a technical expert and software trainer at Terrasolid. She helps users through hands-on training, tackles challenging data-processing cases, and supports customers in unlocking the full potential of Terrasolid’s software solutions.
François Menassé is a surveyor based in Corsica and founder of HELIX. He specializes in aerial data capture and precision sur- veying, and also develops practical software tools, including a flight planner and erosion monitoring solutions, to support effi- cient and reliable field operations
Grégory Villard is a shareholder and the head of international sales development for Hexadrone on Civilian and Military's markets. With 30 years of experience in software and IT hardware sales. Gregory has been active in the drone industry for the last three years at Hexadrone and owner of Drone Hive Systems an Autonomous Drone in the box Infrastructure.
Kris is a licensed commercial UAV pilot with years of hands-on drone operations and training experience. He brings specialized survey and mapping expertise, having led numerous large-scale projects—including several spanning more than 10,000 acres. While LiDAR is his true passion and primary specialty, Kris also brings extensive experience in photogrammetry and multispectral imaging for advanced vegetative mapping. His background includes training hundreds of organizations across the U.S., from state DOTs to federal agencies, on cutting-edge data acquisition and processing workflows across a wide range of software platforms. He has also developed custom command-line automation scripts to streamline the processing of massive datasets.
Panagiotis Mertikas is a Surveying & Systems Engineer and responsible for all the hydrographic services at METRICA S.A., specializing in hydrographic surveys, LiDAR applications, multi- beam systems, and precision metrology. He has led bathymetric and river surveys across Greece, integrating UAV LiDAR and multibeam technologies for high-accuracy environmental and maritime projects.
Pedro Figueiredo is Director of Business Development and Sales at Beyond Vision. With a background as a Portuguese Army Ranger Officer, he has extensive experience in defence, international operations, and technology-driven solutions. He leads global partnerships and strategic growth, focusing on UAV systems, C4ISR platforms, and dual-use applications across multiple sectors.
Pierre Inisan is the Sales Director for the EMEA region, leading commercial strategy and customer development across diverse market segments. With over a decade of experience, he promotes SBG Systems’ solutions to customers, integrators, and sales partners throughout the region. Pierre holds an Engineering Degree in Physical Measurement Technologies.
CDGI is a BIM engineering company operating in the rail, catenary systems, civil engineering, and complex infrastructure sectors. Ryan Perroy is a Professor in the department of Geography & Environmental Science at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Director of the Tropical Conservation Biology & Environmental Science graduate program. He also directs the Spatial Data Analysis & Visualization Research lab. He completed his gra- duate studies at UC Santa Barbara and has an undergraduate degree in physics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
Seung-hyun Jung is the Business Director at ARGOSDYNE, overseeing strategic partnerships and market expansion for au- tomated drone solutions. With a robust background in system integration, he bridges technical innovation with commercial viability, driving the adoption of autonomous docking systems and advanced LiDAR-integrated technologies across global in- dustrial and security markets.
I am Tara Koopman working as a Data Scientist at Vattenfall R&D, where we develop new innovations and AI solutions to support the company in sustainable energy production. I have worked on a wide range of projects, from image recognition for biodiversity monitoring to predictive maintenance and analy- sing LiDAR data.
Experienced geologist specializing in hydrogeological hazards, landslides, and emergency management, with over 15 years of research and field experience. Technical advisor for Italy’s Civil Protection on Stromboli monitoring and coordinator of Emergency Response at the University of Florence. Expertise in risk mitigation, monitoring systems, modeling, and multidisci- plinary operations during disasters.
I trained as a geomorphologist and specialized my research in lidar and photogrammetric techniques to analyse landscapes dynamics, quantify geohazards and expand them more broadly to geosciences. Within BRGM, as senior researcher I leverage my expertise to help local authorities mitigate risks and companies develop new applications and technologies.
Thomas Eder drives the convergence of connectivity and au- tonomy. As Head of Embedded Wireless at Nokia and Business Owner of Nokia Drone Networks, he builds scalable 4G/5G- enabled drone ecosystems for mission-critical operations. With 15+ years’ experience, he bridges telecom and robotics, while serving in a Bavarian volunteer fire brigade.
Ulrich Weinbach is an engineering manager at Trimble Terrasat in Munich. He joined Trimble in 2012 to support the RTX correction data generation team. Since 2018 he is leading the RTX core algorithm development. Ulrich holds a degree in geodesy from the Technical University of Berlin and a PhD in satellite geodesy from the University of Hannover, Germany.
Xabier, Head of Business Development at LumiDB, has 14 years of LiDAR expertise. He spent 11 years at Terrasolid, leading Global Sales (6y) and Support (5y). Formerly a Research Scientist at the Finnish Geodetic Institute (2y), he holds an M.Sc. (Tech) in Geoinformatics specializing in laser scanning and hydrographic operations.
Driven by a passion for nature, I’ve built a career at the intersec- tion of environmental action and innovation. With experience in wildlife surveying, tourism, marketing, and sales, I joined YellowScan in 2023, where I explore LiDAR technology for UAVs and the potential of this solution for bridging tech and sustai- nability.
Alexandre Gintz graduated from the ENSIM engineering school in Le Mans in 2004 and obtained a Master’s degree in Acoustics Vibrations Signal in 2005 from ESM2 in Marseille. He defended his doctoral thesis on the subject «Estimation of low-frequency echoes in a measurement room» in 2009, at LMA, CNRS. Since then, Alexandre has worked on various subjects, including active noise control for the company Quietys and then on an em- bedded system for automatic bat detection for the company Biotope. Since 2024, Alexandre has been working on signal pro- cessing for Yellowscan.
Dr. Eng. Dragoș Tătaru is Senior Researcher and Head of the Applied Geophysics, Prevention and Education Laboratory at Romania’s National Institute for Earth Physics. With over 20 years in seismology, he leads education, outreach, and mul- ti-hazard initiatives, coordinating national and international projects that connect research, technology, and society through training and science communication.
After a Msc in Marine Engineering and a PhD in Earth Sciences, Michel has worked as a technical consultant for international projets around the World. He co-founded L’Avion Jaune in 2005 and YellowScan in 2015, two companies dedicated to remote sensing of the environment. Acting as a president of YellowScan, he focusses on fostering sustainability within the company and its stakeholders.
Simão Marques is a Test Engineer and Drone Pilot at Beyond Vision. With a background in Aeronautical Engineering, he has experience in general and sports aviation, contributing to aerospace events, airshows, and fly-ins. He supports UAV testing and operations, focusing on AI-driven solutions and dual-use applications across multiple sectors.
